May my suffering become the seed of my compassion. Jasmine Badge
Because I have experienced pain, I am able to embrace the pain of others. Because I have made mistakes, I am able to forgive others their mistakes. May my suffering become the seed of my compassion.
Dear survivors,
I am sorry you’ve been shut down, disbelieved, minimised, gaslit, invalidated, told to forgive and forget. I am sorry we live in a world that isn’t build to hold and support each other.
I am sorry that people around you can’t look at your grief and pain and anger and you might feel very alone. I am sorry that you’ve had to bear the burden of teaching people to do better.
You deserve so much more than being a giver. I want you to know that we are fighting for a world that can offer what we deserve because all of us deserve more than the crumbs being fed to us.
We deserve compassion, kindness, support, space and understanding.
