TELL , TELL , TELL Jasmine Badge
TELL TELL TELL (Adults version) *TELL the parents or caregivers to educate themselves about the subject and sharing it with their children. *TELL the children about prevention and the power of their voice, not only in case of an emergency. *TELL a trusted adult about the sexual abuse and report the abuse to the authorities. TELL TELL TELL (Children version) *TELL and yell at the abuser to stop in a very loud voice. *TELL a trusted adult or friend that can find help. *TELL the counsellor, police, doctor or teachers. Communication is the key in this subject. As parents and teachers we should talk to our children and tell them that in this world there are people with good intentions, but there are also people with bad intentions. We should provide the children with different examples about both types of situations and make sure that the children understand the difference between the two. Questions: Do you know at what age your child’s school starts sex education programme? Do you have any idea what the programme is about? ~ JB
